Here's How Influencers Earn Up To Rs 2 Lakh Per Brand Deal On Social Media

Here's How Influencers Earn Up To Rs 2 Lakh Per Brand Deal On Social Media

Being an "influencer" on social media and monetising it is a fairly new career choice that people have started taking up. Courtesy the design of social media, it really looks like a relatively lucrative profession.

We're talking about the flashy brands that influencers talk about regularly on their social media handles. Some of the makeup, clothes, phones, cars or places that these influencers visit or talk about are brand associations that the influencers get paid for.

However, this is not a career-line we were acquainted with in school. So it can be a little tricky to understand the inner workings of being an influencer and more importantly to know how they earn a living.

So, we spoke to the founder of One Impression, an artificial intelligence-driven influencer marketing platform that enables brands to connect with them.

One Impression has closely worked with brands such as Musical.ly India (now Tik Tok), Jeep, Healthkart, Bombay Shaving Company, Absolut Vodka to name a few. They have an access of a network of influencers including Gaurav Chaudhary, Mostly Sane, Komal Pandey and many more.

Here's how it works:
1. Brands approach companies like One Impression to get their hands on influencers to promote their product.

2. The company presents them with a list of influencers that they could work with.
3. The brand then chooses a handful that they want to work with.

However, there are other aspects to this process as well. Hence, we spoke to Apaksh Gupta, founder of One Impression, to clear out our doubts.
